A Guide to Cleaning Your Bedroom

By Jordi Shoman Keeping a bedroom clean and fresh poses quite the challenge for many people. Some individuals are simply naturally messy individuals when it comes to their living spaces. Yet it is still imperative that these people try to maintain a respectable level of cleanliness in their home and in no room is that more important than the bedroom. Since many of us spend much of our lives in the bedroom, keeping it clean and fresh smelling is a must. Whether this involves a little light dusting every so often or involves a complete overhauling depends on the individual. A simple fifteen- minute cleaning routine is, in many cases, all that is necessary in order for a bedroom to appear presentable. There are, however, a number of regular cleaning and hygiene tips that one can follow to ensure that the amount of time spent cleaning each week is minimal. Taking dirty clothing from your floor and putting it into a clothes basket is paramount. Allowing dirty clothing to pile up in the middle of your bedroom floor not only looks unsanitary but also contributes to the formation of a foul odor in your bedroom. Odors may become trapped in carpets also and as such vacuuming should almost be compulsory. Once we have eliminated the source of odors in our bedroom, we can move on to trying to maintain a degree of neatness. Putting things back in their original position once we have finished using them is crucial when trying to preserve a neat living space. If one fails to do so, a neat bedroom can quickly turn into a disaster zone. Things can easily become misplaced also and very difficult to find once you go looking for them. Last but not least, once you have succeeded to this point in the quick cleanup you may notice that your bed is still unmade and in order for the bedroom to look its finest you have to make your bed. Certified Organic Seedless Watermelon

By Anna Hart Each year, as spring pushes winter aside and the air warms, there are certain thoughts, certain cravings that return after months of absence. For many, one of those cravings is for watermelon. Watermelons are grown in 44 of the continental United States. If you purchase watermelons in a western state, chances are they were grown in California or Arizona. If you purchase them in a mid-western or eastern state, they are more likely to have been grown in Florida, Georgia, or Texas. If you really crave watermelon for New Year’s Day, you can probably get one, since they are imported from Mexico. Domestic melons, however, come into season in May and are around until the end of October. The season’s peak is from May through August. While watermelons are abundant, it isn’t so easy to find certified organic seedless watermelon. Up-front Advice If you research carefully, you will learn that, technically, there cannot be such a thing as a certified organic seedless watermelon. Why? A certified organic seedless watermelon is a genetically altered watermelon. The genetic alteration is done chemically. To create a seedless watermelon, seed producers treat natural watermelon seed with Colchicines, a chromosome-altering chemical. Colchicines changes the chromosome number in the seeds from 2 to 4. Once this is done, the seeds are pollinated with the natural 2 chromosome watermelon. The result is an un-natural, genetically modified watermelon with 3 chromosomes. Continue your research and you will learn, as I did, that plants must have an even number of chromosomes to reproduce. Since the un-natural, genetically modified watermelon now has 3 chromosomes, it cannot form seeds. You get a seedless melon. A watermelon that is touted as certified organic seedless watermelon may be grown organically, but chemicals were used in the production of the seeds. You will have to decide your own definition of “organic” to decide whether or not you want the melon. If you still want to find certified organic seedless watermelon, you have options. Order Online The Internet, which seems to have about anything you could want, includes stores that will ship certified organic seedless watermelon to your door. Of course, it has to be in season. 1. Cherry Moon Farms offers organic fruit delivery, and guarantees that the fruit will arrive fresh or your money back. 2. Diamond Organics offers “next-day” delivery of organic fruits, vegetables, and a host of other things. They guarantee that everything will be as you want it. If it isn’t, they will replace the item on your next order, or issue a refund. Farmer’s Markets If there is a farmer’s market in your area, you may be able to buy certified organic seedless watermelon there. If you know someone at your farmer’s market who grows organic produce, you could call them early in the spring and request that they plant certified organic seedless watermelon. Grocery Stores Check your local grocery stores for certified organic seedless watermelon. More and more are establishing an organic subdivision in the produce section. Some grocery stores try to honor customer requests, too, and may order in certified organic seedless watermelon if you ask for it. Plant Your Own You may want to plant your own certified organic seedless watermelon. Names of choices to ask for include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Everglade Hybrid Watermelon 2. Lemon Ice Hybrid Watermelon 3. Orange Sunshine Hybrid Watermelon 4. Big Tasty Seedless Hybrid Watermelon Watermelons With Seeds If you decide that certified organic seedless watermelon is not organic enough for your tastes, you might want to grow a container or row of your own organic watermelon. An easy, delicious melon to grow on your patio is sugar baby and yes, organic seed companies such as Main Street Seed and Supply have certified organic seeds for this watermelon. It produces round watermelons, about 7″ to 8.5″ and weighing 8 to 12 pounds. The name tells you what to expect. It’s probably worth the seeds! 2007, Anna Hart. Anna Hart invites you to read more of her articles about organic gardening at http://www.organicspringtime.com/. Anna is posting new articles every week on that site, each one dealing with some facet of organic gardening. If you want information for yourself or someone else on how to grow an organic vegetable garden, including watermelon, you will want to read Annas article on the subject. Collectible Dolls Combine Passion and Nostalgia

By Chris Robertson Every woman can think back to her childhood and reminisce about her favorite baby dolls. Perhaps her most treasured dolls were popular dolls with ever-changing outfits and accessories, dolls that had long tresses that could be brushed, or collectible porcelain dolls handed down for generations and displayed in a special case or on a special shelf. These treasured memories are the reason that collectible dolls are so popular today. Today’s collectible dolls aren’t necessarily antique dolls; more often, they’re contemporary dolls that are, in essence, artist dolls - collectible dolls in limited editions that are carefully crafted by artists. Some of the most popular and treasured collectible dolls today are made by the following companies and artisans: Adora Doll Company: The Adora Doll Company makes two types of baby dolls, those that are affordable and therefore accessible to many collectors, and limited editions that appeal to serious upscale collectors. Adora baby dolls are available in all races, eye colors, and hair colors, making them welcome additions for any doll collection. Lee Middleton: Although the company’s namesake passed away in 1997, this popular and award-winning company continues to produce baby dolls that have amazingly realistic and unique facial expressions. Robert Tonner: Robert Tonner, known throughout the world for his award winning dolls and fashions, began his career as a head designer for Bill Blass after graduating from the Parsons School of Design. Robert Tonner has many lines of popular collectible dolls, including Mary Englebreit dolls, Betsy McCall dolls, and Tiny Betsy McCall dolls. Zawieruszynski: Polish-born Zofia and Henry Zawieruszynski have won many awards, such as Dolls of Excellence and DOTY, for their collectible porcelain dolls that have hand-painted faces and human hair. These high-end collectible dolls are signed and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Uta Brauser: Each of Uta Brauser’s collectible porcelain dolls are one-of-a-kind and are so unique that they’re often found in art galleries. Nancy Latham: Nancy Pedroso Latham was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in the early 1960s. Her collectible dolls, “The Wistful Children,” are inspired by antique photographs of children. The dolls are costumed to represent these children, and accompanying some of the dolls are photographs of the children they portray. The dolls’ bodies are made of cotton, while the faces are structured and covered with cloth, and then hand-painted. Collectible dolls are a wonderful way to recapture the joys of childhood, while at the same time building a foundation that can be passed on to future generations. Do You Really Need To Know How To Attract Women

By Teddy Shabba When it comes to attracting women many times a man believes that he must know everything a man can know about how to attract women before he can become successful with women. Yet, the truth is you ca know absolutely nothing about how to attract women and still attract women. Even better, is the fact that you can know everything there is to know about attracting women and still not attract women! So how is this possible and why should you even bother to learn how to attract women if you don’t even need to know how in order to do it? Well it is possible because the power of acting AS IF you know how to attract women when approaching women is always going to be greater that waiting until you know how to attract women before approaching women. As for why you should learn how to attract women it is really quite simple. Learning from those who are already where or are beyond where you want to go allows you to learn from both their setbacks and successes. In other words, the long way to being able to attract women is doing it on your own and the shorter and easy way is by learning from and with others. Of course, just how short it will take to learn really depends on who you choose to teach you and how much practice you put in. Then again deciding that you should know how to attract women before you actually go out and start attracting women is the easiest way to stay exactly where you are except with a lot more knowledge. How to Enhance Your Signature Fragrance For a Lasting Effect

By Judy Stanley Do you want to leave a lasting impression as your perfume wafts through the air long after you have left the room? The secret to having a signature fragrance that is instantly recognisable as You is firstly to find that fragrance that truly suits your body chemistry. You may have many fragrances that truly suit you. You may have a different one for daywear as opposed to nightwear. You may have a special one for romantic occasions and different perfumes for changing seasons. If your complexion is olive in nature you are probably more suited to heavier, exotic fragrances. Fair skins tend to react better to lighter, floral type scents. Experiment at the perfume counters. Consultants just love you to try them out. But try them on your skin, not a fragrance card. Whatever fragrance you choose, its lasting effect is directly related to the other fragranced products that you may be wearing. Matching body products is called Layering Dont have your fragrance competing with the scent of your deodorant, shampoo, soap, body lotion etc. Most designer brand perfume companies produce a range of body products in the same fragrance as your favourite perfume. Thus you can match your body products to your signature fragrance and leave that lasting evidence that You were Here! Our sense of smell is one of the strongest in relation to memory. Make sure you stay in his memory long after the date has ended! Everyone Should Have a RED BALL in the Job Search

By Marilyn Tellez May I explain what about what a red ball means to me and how I counsel others as a career coach. A RED BALL is a symbol of what you can do and want, especially in a job search. Here are some uses for a RED BALL, especially when you are stuck for ideas and resources to get your next job. 1. Play with it! Bounce it! See how high it will go. Be silly with it! (No, this is not intended as a ‘feel good’ exercise). It is a way to free your imagination for goals and ideas about what you want to do next. 2. Carry it with you when you are out and about looking for a job. If you are not afraid of risk, ask others you meet to bounce it! You’ll be surprised at how others will react. If some people think you are peculiar and don’t want to play with you, you don’t want them as RESOURCE PEOPLE who will help you as you explain that the red ball is a symbol of what you are looking for. Engage those folks in conversation, please, who want to play ball with you. 3. Keep the ball at home to look at and imagine your success, it is a PLAYFUL SYMBOL of what is waiting for you! Success as play! c, 2004-05 Marilyn J. Relationship Advice Gone Wild

By Susan Russo “Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer and wish we didnt.” -Erica Jong Everybody wants to be politically correct and say the right things. You have to tip toe around the reality of hard truths and watch that you dont hurt anyones feelings. There are times when the words that you speak and what you are thinking, are two entirely different things, all in the name of being polite and professional. For the first time, what you are about to experience is the brutal, cold truth about how to get over the end of your relationship, let go and move on. Some people simply cant handle the truth; they are just too delicate and fragile. On the other hand, maybe if they are slapped in the face with reality, they will finally wake-up. Get ready for you are about to enter the Relationship Advice Gone Wild Zone. Statement: Im crying my eyes out, I just cant stop thinking of them. I feel so hurt and I dont know what to do. Advice: Cry your fool head off and get it out. Cry and cry some more and then be done with it. Do you honestly think you wont ever get over this jerk? They left you didnt they? So why on Gods good earth would you want them back? Do you really want to be with someone who doesnt want to be with you? Hellonothing like forcing someone to be with you, Im sure thats just what youve always wanted! Statement: I just want to call them one more time. Advice: Thats great, is your phone ringing? NO! So what do plan to accomplish by calling them? Whats your point? Dont you get it? They arent picking the phone up to call you. So what are you going to do? Be a pest or a stocker, not to mentionhave a little pride. Or, better yet, why dont you call them and beg them back. If they arent calling you, why would you ever give them the satisfaction of calling them? Its overso get over it. Statement: I love them and I didnt want this to end, do you think they feel bad that its over? Advice: First of all, no kidding you love them. Anybody who could dump you and you still want them, now thats real love. Or is it desperation? Sure, you probably did love them, but the problem is that; you werent being loved back. It time to get over the shock, pick up the pieces and face the cold hard truththeyre gone. I know thats not what you want to hear, but sorry, thats reality. Now you have to deal with it the best way you know how. As far as them feeling bad, well I hate to break it to you butthey may have a twinge of guilt, but lets face it, they left didnt they? So my guess is that they arent feeling that bad, more than likely they are going about the business of getting on with their life, just like you need to do. Statement: I want them to feel bad. Advice: I know you want them to feel bad, but they may never feel bad. By holding onto thoughts of revenge or wishing ill will on someone is not only bad karmayou are the only one it hurts. You know, sometimes life just isnt fair, but the best revenge is living a good life. Quite simply, you are wasting your time wishing for something that may never happen. Plus, you will never really know for sure. So let it go, dont let it eat you alive. Its your choice. Believe me the list goes on. Your emotions have gone wild in trying to get over whatever their name was. Lets face it. You have to get over it anyway, so what are you waiting for? Dont tell me, youre holding out hope that theyll come back. Even though thats a normal reaction, again, its a waste of time. You might as well stare the truth in the face and say, Im not going to let this ruin my life, Im done. If they dont want me someone else will. Then go about not only living it, but also believing it. Calorie in Honey

By Ruth Tan What is the amount of calorie in honey? Does honey contain more calories than table sugar? One tablespoon of honey has 64 calories, and one tablespoon of sugar has 46 calories. (Or has 22 calories in one teaspoon of honey versus 16 calories in one teaspoon of table sugar.) While the amount of calorie in honey is more, we actually use less of it since it is sweeter than table sugar. And for many people, honey is still a preferred healthier choice because of its vitamins and minerals that can aid in digestion, and its anti-oxidants which can also bring health benefits. Honey contains the same basic sugar units as table sugar — glucose and fructose. Granulated table sugar, or sucrose, has glucose and fructose hooked together, whereas in honey, fructose and glucose remain in individual units. Fructose is sweeter than glucose, which is one of the reasons fructose is used in so many food products today. However, fructose does not convert to energy as efficiently as glucose. As a result, processed foods containing granulated sugar high in fructose convert to fat stores more easily than honey. Honey, a natural sweetener, has only one processing step involved heating to prevent crystallization and yeast fermentation during storage, whereas, table sugar is highly processed, whereby all naturally occurring trace minerals from the sugar cane plant are removed, leaving us with empty calories which are devoid of nutrition like vitamins, minerals, and important enzymes. That is why ironically, in developed countries, there are many overweight people who are suffering from malnutrition! Cut down on the simple sugars in your diet by eliminating the chocolate and hard candies. If you simply cannot resist the desire for sweet stuff, replace them with healthy natural sweeteners like honey. Take regular meals with some protein and fat in each, and eat complex carbohydrates that contain ample soluble fiber– fruits and vegetables for example. Fat, protein and soluble fiber in the diet tend to moderate swings in blood glucose. Other than the concern that excessive intake of sugar and hence calories, could lead to obesity problems, some people have a reaction to sugar called reactive hypoglycemia which is characterized by irritability, nervousness, headache, sweating and confusion a few hours after eating a meal high in simple sugars. These symptoms are caused by the pancreas’ overproduction of insulin in response to rising blood glucose levels. Source: http://www.benefits-of-honey.com/calorie-in-honey.html R. A Guide to Instant Homeowner Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Steve_C_Clark]Steve C Clark Did you ever look at your home as an asset? Of course your home is an asset but did you look at it as a utility asset that can help you plan and space your finances and use it as a collateral to loan money when required? If not, it is your moment to be aware that a home is the greatest asset which would bail you out of any difficult situation that asks grave financial questions. It would not just help you to obtain loans quickly with the lender in good stead but also help you obtain loans at rates cheaper by 2-6% as compared to unsecured loans. If you require an instant loan, your home would help you get it far easily. It is true even if you are self employed or have a bad credit history. Let us look at the reason why this is so. A home is used as a collateral for a loan. The lender is secured that his money will not fall in a risk if you are not in a position to pay it back or if you suddenly go bankrupt. Your home is the security and in the very unfortunate scenario, the lender would be able to liquidate it obtain the loaned amount back. With the risk hedged well, the lending institutions are willing to give away these loans at a cheaper rate as low as around 9% if all other situations are favorable. Also, placing your home as the security or collateral should not worry you at all especially not if you are in a good financial shape and have planned well to pay it back. It is only placed as a collateral and you can resume full ownership of it just as the loan gets paid back. There is no danger to losing your home unless you keep paying the installments in time. The requirement for money is also mostly such that it is required fast in an instant. The home and the security to the lender that it brings does not just help get the loan at a cheaper rate it also helps to get it faster. There are fewer checks required and the loan gets processed very easily. Even if your financial health is not great and your credit history is not good, these questions do not become pertinent if there is a house to secure the lender. Now let us look at the details of these homeowner loans. These loans are available for up to 80% of the equity of the house. Equity is the amount of the house mortgage that has already been paid for (as against the amount the house is actually worth). This is the actual worth of the house for the lender the amount that can be liquidated if the loan is not paid back. The period for which a home loan can be obtained can be very long it can be up to 30 years. Also, it can be transferred from a loan on one house to a loan on another house. The most important thing from the perspective of the borrower is the time which is required to get the loan processed and the credentials of the lender. It is important to find a good lender who gets the loan processed in time and does not create any hassles while the repayments. Since your most important possession is under a collateral, it is important that it remains safe. Another thing that you need to keep in mind is your financial planning. That you plan it well is very important to pay back the loan installments in time and to keep your house safe. I’m Looking for Mr. Right, Am I Too Picky?

By Mary Gardner Many of my clients that I coach are single and looking for that one perfect mate that is going to understand and love them. Most of these clients are in their 20s 30s or early 40s. Because I work as a business consultant and coach, the people I come into contact with are usually people who are open to self growth. This causes a whole new level of understanding that the clients must acknowledge. First of all, a few of them are using the traditional dating services. Since none of them are arrogant, they cant seem to get their Ideal Mate qualities across in a way that doesnt make them sound better than others. So, Im helping my clients to package themselves in a way that is factual and fun. Its what good attorneys do when they are trying to win a case. Its what agents do when they are trying to sell an entertainer to the public. Its what a publicist does when their company is in trouble. Pitch the best and most qualities first. Quick, fast and easy. Example: Claire is a 34 year old stylish, single mom, due to the death of her spouse 3 years ago. Shes lived all (or traveled) over the country and is a successful entrepreneur who sells her services to top notch corporate types. Shes interested in connecting with an individual who is competent in the area of finances, relationships and travel. Shes not out to save anyone, but wants to enjoy the finer things of life along with the simple pleasures of life. Okay, this knocks out anyone who is not ambitious about life. It pretty much takes out the old fashioned man who wants his wife to stay at home to cook, clean and take care of the kids. It also makes a requirement of their finances.. that they are successful. Why is this important? My clients have found so many wonderful and nice people in dating pool. And yet they wonder why they arent falling in love with these super nice people. They beat themselves up because they are passing through the many people like water that are presented to them. I have explained to the majority of my clients that if they are the type of person who does self development, therapy, goes to classes, is a continual learner, reads to grow or learn, (not just romance novels), updates their skills on a regular basis, gets involved with causes or charity, works out their bodies, nurtures their relationship with God, has good relationships with their friends and family, THEN THEY ARE A 5%er. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. THEY ARE SPECIAL. AND THEY WONT BE SATISFIED WITH JUST THE AVERAGE OL JOE. Most people just dont have the time OR WANT to grow themselves. They are content with who they are. They are content with what theyve been given in life. Theyre in the same job that theyll have forever. They dont need to stretch. They dont need to learn. They are fine how they are. We all know people like this! They make nice friends. They are predictable. They are usually reliable. Theyre usually available. Nothing changes. Not their tastes, not their attitudes (for better or for worse) and not their circumstances. Is it my clients? NO! The people I coach or who come to my workshops and seminars are people of ACTION. They are people who seek growth opportunity and ways to stretch. Thats why they wont be satisfied with just a nice guy. Or a super nice gal. It wont CHALLENGE them. They wont look up to them. They wont have the respect that one desires in a committed relationship. If you are a 5 %er or a 1%er. then give yourself a break! You probably ARENT going to find your perfect mate in your own back yard. You MIGHT of course, and I would love to hear from you if you have. But feel free to look more on a national basis. Ask your friends in other cities who they know. When you travel, be open to meeting people on the planes or in airports. Sit in first class when ever you can so you get to meet others who are flying first class. Be open to adventure! Go on vacation with friends and see who is there. Go on a cause oriented work vacation to see who you can meet. Take a bicycle trip across the country or Europe to meet others who dont only seek friends in their own back yard. Many of my friends married men or women from other countries. Many are married to people they met when moving to a larger city. While there are sometimes cultural differences, and traditional issues that they deal with, they also are exposed to a whole new way of life. New customs, new attitudes and new places. These can be exciting things for a person who likes to learn new things. I met my own husband on the internet in a chat room about 10 years ago. Hes Cuban-Italian and grew up in NYC. His customs have been fun to learn about and weve combined our hunger for learning to many new adventures, especially raising our son! We are both independent, yet we share many things in common. And if I had only looked in my own back yard, I would have stopped so many years ago and still been in Florida. While I may go back to Florida one day and settle in, Ive experienced a whole world of new people, ideas, and places since Ive lived there. My challenge to you if you are single is Please dont give up!. Dont think that just because you are picky that you are destined to be single forever. But be willing to look outside your own community of friends. Be willing to the possibility that your perfect mate is in another town, city or country, anxiously waiting the opportunity to meet that person who also has dreams and goals of their own, who loves the city, the country, home and abroad. Consider that this person has a zest for life, just like you do, but their path hasnt led them to you yet. Get out there! Make your quest for that mate a quest for life. Enjoy it! Live it! Experience it and share it! Youll never know until you try and when you try, youll have no ideas the adventures that await! Good luck go for it and let me know where you land. For now anyway. And next year? Thatll be a whole new story Im sure! Safe Travels! COMMENTS FROM THE SINGLES: “This is awesome! You are truly a gifted and insightful writer! I am signing up for a cruise to see the glaciers ….or something like that………….”.(single female, Charlotte, NC) She’s off the market !!! I got married in September 2003 to a great guy. We met on the internet and he was living in Florida at the time. The crazy part is that the reason he emailed me is because my profile said something about my being a life coach. He had worked with a life coach and had a great experience so he was interested in my profile. Neither of us expected anything to come of it but surprise…. Clearly being a coach has enhanced my life in MANY ways! Hope you and the family are doing well! All the best, Michele (NYC) Congratulations Michelle!!! “I feel so special knowing that you would include me as a 1%er!! Thanks! ;-)” Great post.” (Single 20 something Male- Charlotte, NC) “cute blog!” (Single 20 something male- Charlotte, NC) “Cool, thanks for the inspiration. Keep it coming. Have a great weekend.” (Forty something single guy, Minneapolis) “This was such a brilliant and insightful and ABSOLUTELY TRUE blog, I just had to respond. My marriage had broken up and I was shaken up by it - and I am what you call a 1% er. I fit the exact description you illustrated - only have the highest goal in mind, insatiable appetite for reading and knowledge, only want to spend time with the most worthy and intelligent people. I did not understand how someone as intelligent and successful as me could orchstrate such a dismal failure of the one and only thing I truly cared about - but it went spectacularly wrong. And to make a long story short guess what - I met the absolute love of my life - a successful and wealthy software entrepreneur - you cannot get more my type than this man is, he fits every criteria I could think of, and even some I didn’t know I could think of- and all I did was move to San Diego. Truer words were never spoken - change your outlook and change your home base - and your life just falls into place. I could not have even imagined how perfect this turned out. Never ever settle for less than exactly what you want!!!!! Listen to what Mary Gardner has to say.” (Single 30 something female, San Diego, CA) “That was great, I am going to pass on to all my single friends!!!!” (single 30 something- Charlotte) Anyway, it was kind of a “message” because this morning I woke up extremely sad about my relationship. I opened your blog right up to the part about Mr. and Mrs. Right and Am I being too picky. LOL. It didn’t really (make me-sic) happy since I’m not looking, but perhaps it somewhere in there is a message I’m supposed to take to heart.? (Brandie, 20something, midwest) I read your article on looking for Mr. Right. I thought it was great! Finding Pete was certainly a miracle. We are so well matched for each other. (40 something female, married, Charlotte, NC) Mary, Ok 2 emails in one morning! Wow, I kept reading after that articleThe Im Looking for Mr. or Ms. Right its funny b/c as I read it I was thinking, well sure, I think anyone might consider themselves to be among the top (or the minorityhowever you choose to look at it J), but then I remembered something I read in one of my psych classes…it related to taking those personality tests. They can [usually] tell when someone is lying about those little questions like is smoking marijuana ok?someone who thinks it is might first think they should check no.but then, they think that realistically everyone is like them (I guess its more an ego-centric view) so they put yes, thinking it puts them in the status-quo. My point being, maybe we are special! But anyway, back to your article, I really enjoyed reading that one tooit gave me some hope, because I feel the same way!! There are so many things to do and see in the world, why limit yourself!! (20 something female, , NC) LOVE LOVE LOVE the article on singles. You are RIGHT ON - I think you should do tv interviews on this topic. I really do b/c you tapped into the pulse of many of Gen X & Y! NO ONE HAS SAID IT BETTER, MORE CONCISELY and with HUMOR and better observation than your article. I have forwarded the link to my friends (married and single) and they agreed with you! I just last week had my postman AND my hairstylist ask me point blank about my “love life” and when was I going to get married b/c “it’s such a shame that you’re still single when you’re so pretty and smart. It’s almost a waste”!!! I was a bit shocked but still managed to say I haven’t found the right man yet and I refuse to settle. This has also happened to my other girlfriends too. Mary you’re really onto something…Plus it’s THE WAY you write/talk about ANY subject - it’s so fun to read.
