To Know and Not Do, is Not to Know!

By Scott Rauber To guarantee success in business there are no secrets really. The twist in becoming successful in any venture depends on a small handful of repeatedly applied simple techniques. Yes, simple. And yes, done over, and over, and over. There are four that I would like to think I live by, and have helped this non-college educated, almost high school dropout, average guy make a respectful income. And believe me, these techniques can be learned and applied by anyone. Here are the four keys I dont care who your that work every time. 1). Pretend youre a marketing rep for a company. When people start a new business for some reason they have a tendency to start thinking like a boss and not like an employee anymore WRONG. Its awesome to be an entrepreneur in the good ol USA, but you need to market, market, market your business like your are about to get fired, and your whole income will go down the drain in a split second if you dont. And just as we think weve done enough marketing to sustain three businesses, we get upset because of lack of results, and then wequit. Right at this point is when all of your blood-sweat-and-tears-hard-work was just about to pay off. Theres always a point when marketing pays off. Pretend youre a marketing rep for a company and have the attitude of an employee. 2). The harder your work the luckier you get. Very similar point to the first, but hard work involves more than just marketing. It involves knowing your business, competition, resources, options, etc. like the back of your hand. I remember asking my uncle who had reached financial success most of us only dream of, what was the key to his success. I was seriously expecting something I hadnt read in any book, or heard on a tape before, when he blurted out hard work. I felt as though he had given me a canned answer. However as I talked more with him, the truth unfolded. He was the first to arrive and work, and usually worked late into the evening. He worked on the weekends and on some holidays. Im not saying you should abandon your lifestyle completely, but havent you already heard this exact story from someone else that is financially successful. Hard work its no secret. 3). People do business with people they know, like and trust. I believe firmly in this little tidbit. Why? Because when you set out to market your new business, whether it is a traditional off line or an online business, these are the people that will kick-start your sales. Contacting people that know, like and trust you already will also make your transition to success easier because these are the people that will; return tour emails, answer your phone calls (they see its you on their caller id), reply to your direct mail offerings, and call you back if you have to leave a message on their phone. All because they already know, like and trust you. 4). Its not what you know; its who you know. Again, this is a similar point to #3, but I find that, even though most people know and have heard this simple quote of wisdom before, it is under applied by almost everybody when they begin their initial prospecting. Did you know that most of us know well over 500 people? Its true. Over a lifetime it is astounding how many people we know and can recall, if we will only think about it. In addition weve all heard the success stories from another entrepreneur, who just happened to know the right person, at the right company, that blasted their business into high gear. The truth is we all know the right person. And even though that exact person may not launch us into financial success, they may direct you to their best friend who is the right person!!! These four success points are no secrets, and Im sure you knew about them beforehand, but it boils down to something very different than just knowing. It boils down to this - Success is repeatedly applying what you do know! To know and not do, is not to know. Are You Process or Results Oriented?

By Sue Roberts You are interested in nutrition and improving your health, right? (I know this because you are reading this article!) A thought to ponder…when it comes to your nutritional health, are you process or results oriented? Its important to know the difference. What is the difference, you might be wondering? I want to lose 10 pounds by next week! If only those jeans fit…I’ll be into them next month! Three days…if I stay under 500 calories a day, I can lose 5 pounds quick! These are examples of a results oriented approach. You decide on an endpoint and then adjust your choices to make it happen. Reaching the endpoint is your measure of either success or failure. A process oriented approach goes like this. Instead of sitting at my desk inside over the lunch hour, this week I’m going to go outside and take a 30 minute walk and enjoy the outdoors. When everyone goes to Dairy Queen after the game, I’ll order a small vanilla cone instead of my usual double chocolate fudge blizzard. I’ll order my Starbuck’s ‘no whip’ this week . See the difference? Keep in mind that the process oriented approach still has an ultimate goal…being healthier and dropping calories to lose weight. When the emphasis is on the process instead of the result, there is more of a tendency to blend changes right into your normal routine, rather than to decide where you are going to be (10 pounds lighter by next week) and then tailor your actions and choices to get there. This is why so many people become victims of false advertising. They take supplements guaranteed to help them lose 25 pounds in 2 weeks or they try and follow the diets that promise they will fit into those size 6 jeans next month. The problem is, when the desired result isn’t achieved in that week or two or whatever, discouragement and depression set in and ultimately the whole idea is scrapped…have you ever drown your sorrows from dieting failure by wolfing down a bag of Ruffles or a box of chocolates? Granted, the process oriented approach seems boring perhaps, not flashy and exciting…but its do- able. You have more control over the situations and choices you make, thereby increasing the chances of ultimate success As a certified nutritionist and registered dietitan for over 20 years, Sue is passionate about helping you become your healthiest ever! Save Time with a Garage Door Opener

By Arturo Ronzon If your garage door does not already have an automatic opener, and you are forced to get out of the car to open your garage manually before going in, you may want to pay attention to the information in this article. Automatic garage door openers make it easier than ever to open your garage door, and it can be done from inside your car, the garage, or even inside the home. There are only a few factors that must be considered when choosing the right garage door opener to purchase. Drive System: There are three different drive systems; screw-drive, chain-drive and computer-controlled drive. The screw-drive system uses a lifting mechanism which moves along a steel rod that is threaded. These units require the least amount of maintenance because of the small amount of moving parts, and they are very powerful devices. Generally the openers body is in the center of the garages ceiling. The chain-drive system operates using a metal chain which lifts the door up and down along a track. These systems are the most common, and typically are also the least expensive to purchase. The downside to these units is that they are generally louder than screw-drive units. Finally, the computer-controlled drive is the newest on the market, and uses no chains or screws. The units body sits directly above the garage door, and works well for garages with limited headroom because there is more open garage ceiling space. Power: When choosing a garage door opener, look for one that has the necessary power in order to adequately lift your own garage door. You should be looking for at least a half horsepower with a double door. Even with a single door, a more powerful motor is always preferable. Speed: Openers on the higher end of the market tend to operate a little more quickly than the others, which will reduce waiting time in the driveway. Models which open quickly still close slowly for the sake of safety. Safety: There are features in all garage door openers that are meant to keep doors from crushing an object in their paths. If the doors strike something, they will reverse immediately. This tends to be controlled by electronic beams, which trigger the safety mechanism when penetrated by an object or a person. Outdoor Lighting Techniques

By Michael Russell Outdoor lighting, also known as landscape lighting, has known an unexpected boost in the last ten years. This is no longer solely the burden if the local administrations and city halls. Domestic users do approach outdoor lighting and enhance the vista of the domestic residences with various light sources. And no, we don’t mean solely Christmas lights! Outdoor lighting is not only used to create and deliver an emotional aura around a home, or in a private garden, but also for safety and orientation purposes. Customers choose their lighting sources carefully and place them in strategic places to insure safety and to provide for an aesthetic landscape lighting scenario. The light sources for outdoor use should not be too bright, yet bright enough to provide enough light along walkways and prevent trespassing. Bright lights need higher levels of electricity, therefore consume more and increase energy costs. Solar garden lamps are there to solve such difficulties. However, the problem with such lamps is that most of them are of inferior quality or the solar batteries are not strong enough to last the whole night, especially not in winter when they don’t even charge enough. There are some outdoor lighting techniques that might help you create the optimal effects using traditional energy sources. Spot lighting may be used to highlight statues or central architectural elements. As spots emanate pretty powerful light beams, you should always try to position them higher than the human eyes or in places where people don’t usually walk or look directly. Another method to highlight interesting shapes is called in lighting design terms “shadowing”. This is achieved by placing a light spot directly in front of the element you want to create an interesting effect for and point the light towards a vertical surface, to form a shadow. Wherever you have stairs you might want to employ a technique called step lighting. For this purpose LED fixtures powered by solar cells are ideal, as you don’t need too much light on each step, but you need a “contour”, a light accent or a light path. Walkway lighting is pretty important to define landscape pathways and add safety. Solar garden lamps are pretty convenient for this purpose too, but if you prefer having your path lights on for a longer time, you could opt for traditional lamps. Although they consume more electricity and increase energy costs, they are brighter and provide for more safety. If you have a residence with exclusive architectural traits, you might want to accentuate its beauty with uplighters. The technique is not new and it’s already used to enhance many corporate and official buildings. Underwater illumination is great for artesian fountains, pools and ponds, but underwater lights are generally expensive and difficult to install. No matter what you choose, just remember that each light should be used carefully to enhance the natural beauty of the scenery and not to add undesired glance and glare. Just stay away from too much if you don’t want to fall in the kitsch trap! Weight Loss Success - A Nutritionist’s 10 BEST Tips

By Lori Pirog You’ve heard it before, possibly more times than you care to remember. To lose weight simply eat less and exercise more. The problem is there could be nothing further from the truth. The concept is true–eat less and exercise more–but there is nothing simple about weight loss! Don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise. I could spend hours, no maybe days or weeks explaining why it is difficult. However, I imagine that isn’t necessary because you already know just how hard it can be. What’s worse is that losing the weight is only half the battle. Keeping the weight off can be even more difficult! However, there is a secret to successful weight loss. Unfortunately, many people who learn this secret fail to recognize its power. Instead they are like those who seek a get-rich-quick scheme. They are easy targets for the next clever marketer who promises to reveal how to lose weight fast without a proper diet or exercise! 1. The secret or single most important concept to keep in mind for successful long-term weight loss has been well proven. You must choose a healthy diet and lifestyle that you can maintain for the rest of your life. That’s it. Did you know that the true meaning of a diet is simply what you eat? You are already on a diet of your own choosing whether you think of it that way or not. The good news is that you have control over what you select for your diet. And every day offers you an opportunity to make small changes to improve. Small changes maintained over time can result in significant results–weight loss, looking better, feeling better, and reduced risk for illness and disease. The remaining 9 tips will teach you what you need to keep in mind when making changes to your diet. 2. Choose to eat lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans. The benefits of these choices are enormous! These foods are chock full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and healthy phytochemicals. Vitamins and minerals work overtime to keep your body functioning properly. Fiber adds bulk to the food you eat, gives you a sense of fullness and satisfaction, and keeps your digestive system working smoothly. Phytochemicals are the new kids on the block. They are the source of healthy antioxidants and other compounds that benefit us in a multitude of ways scientists have only begun to discover. Add a small amount of lean meat and fish, and low-fat milk products to round out and balance your diet. But give emphasis to the fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans. 3. Eat fewer refined carbohydrates. Yes, this means cutting back or eliminating sweets and refined breads and cereals. Instead choose to eat whole grains whenever possible. Look for whole grain listed first on the ingredient list and products with more than two grams of fiber per serving. Four or more grams per serving are better. 4. Drink lots of water! Six to eight glasses of water are best. Tea and a small amount of fruit juice can be a source of some of that water. Reduce or eliminate your consumption of additional fruit juice, sugary drinks, or alcoholic beverages. 5. Avoid highly processed foods with added sugars, artificial sweeteners or excessive fat. Many low-fat cookies, cakes, chips, crackers, and desserts are high in refined carbohydrates and calories and have little or no fiber. 6. Determine how many calories you actually need. Be realistic! Calculate your basal metabolic rate and calculate the additional energy (calories) you need for daily activities. Most women need a minimum of 1200 calories and men 1600 calories a day to prevent their metabolism from slowing down. 7. Keep a food diary to keep track of your food choices and count calories at least for a week or two. Putting in the time and effort to do this may not be fun. But the benefits are HUGE. You will likely gain some essential insight about your current food habits and what you need to do to change. 8. Learn what triggers you to overeat. Jot some notes in your food diary each time you reach for food. Were you actually hungry or were you eating just because the food was there and you could? Was the food a reward or means of soothing your anger or frustration after a difficult day? The key here is having an understanding of what you are feeling before you eat. This gives you the option to make a different choice. 9. Get support! Whatever the challenge you might be facing, having family or friends who are supportive is a big help! However, be aware of those who may want you to stay just as you are and instead of helping actually sabotage your efforts. 10. Exercise! What can I say? Exercise matters! Be creative and find a form of exercise that you will like. Take these suggestions to heart. Make one small change at a time. Added up the changes you make with your diet and lifestyle could mean significant weight loss and better health for years to come! Want more weight loss tips and strategies? What Did God Really Say?

By Charles King Satan asked Eve in the Garden of Eden Did God really say not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Eve either did not know what God had said or she did not believe God. In either case Satan accomplished his goal to kill, steal, and destroy. Satans game plan is still the same today. He is still asking the question, Did God really say? It is amazing the answers one gets when a question is asked about a specific Bible verse. Here are some common responses that you hear from many who profess to be Christians, included many well know preachers. 1) The Old Testament was only written for the Jews and does not apply to the Christian. 2) The Law no longer applies to the Christian they are under grace. 3) The Bible in the original manuscript contains no errors, which implies that our current manuscripts contain errors and they are the only ones capable of determining which is error, which is not. For example the group who call themselves the Jesus Seminar imply that the Bible does not portray the true Jesus, but they are so intelligent that can read documents from the period of Jesus and determine the true Jesus. Common sense tells you that if you were to read material of our day it would not project a true picture of those who truly believe in Jesus, but would portray a secular faith of those who have both feet in the world. Before I attended Bible College and seminary, I had been a Christian for twenty-five years and had earned degrees in physics, mathematics, and computer science. All of these fields are a pure science and have very ridged rules that apply. However, when I started my study in theology, I was surprised at how much of theology, the study of God and His Word, was subjective instead of objective. How could it be that the creator of science, would allow the most important science, the study of Himself, to be that way? After much study of the Bible and different interpretations of man, I have come to the conclusion that the question Satan asked Eve is the issue, Did God really say? To answer this question we must address the issue from Gods primary revelation, the Bible. The first verse says In the beginning God . Hebrews 11:6 says, So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him (nlt). We must first believe there is a God. The Bible goes on to say in Romans 10:17, Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news-the Good News about Christ(nlt). So first we must settle the issue of is there a God and has He revealed Himself as stated in Hebrews 1:1-3; Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. But now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he made the universe and everything in it. The Son reflects God’s own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of his command. After he died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven(nlt). The first step understanding the truth is a firm belief (faith) that God is and that He rewards those who seek Him through Christ. The second step understanding is seeking God through Christ. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father accept by me (John 14:16). From this though drives the hermeneutic of interpreting the Bible through the lens of Jesus and Him crucified. Hermeneutics are rules of Bible interpretation. Interpreting the Bible through the theological lens of Jesus and Him crucified can be found in Luke chapter 24 when Jesus tells the two on the road to Emmaus that they should have known about the crucifixion because Moses and the Prophets (Old Testament) had explained it. In the physical sciences you have rules that have been established by observation then proven by application such as gravity. The same can hold true for the science of theology. Just as it was observed that an object fell when dropped led to the proof that this was consistent and that rules of gravity could be applied consistently. Yet, Theologians are slow to apply the same process to the study of God and His Word. Satan is still casting confusion did God really say? and if He did say something specific, then just what did He mean by that statement? Many Bible teachers today are more driven by their church doctrines or by subjective theories of man in their Biblical interpretation process instead of by the objective word of God. For example I have listed below a number of our current schools of theology which have developed rules of Bible interpretation, many of which I believe to be more subjective than objective. I must omit I am heavily biased toward Biblical, Covenant, and Systematic theology over the others because I truly believe each of these are more objectively devised from the application of Scripture, than mans opinion of Scripture (subjective). Below is a list of some of the major schools of theology and my ranking of objectivity versus subjectivity. 1) Systematic Theology heavy objectivity (Word of God) weakness Scripture out of context 2) Biblical Theology heavy objectivity (Word of God) must understand the whole of Scripture interpretation based on the unity of Gods Word 3) Covenant Theology heavy objectivity (Word of God) focuses upon Gods covenant relationship with man must understand His covenant revelations The following four schools of theology, if you could say they are truly schools of theology are in my opinion heavily subjective and are more centered on a specific mans opinion of Gods Word instead of the Word of God itself. 4) Calvinism Developed from five basic doctrines that drive the Biblical interpretation. It is known by the acronym TULIP. Much information is available on the Web about Calvinism and TULIP (in the 1500s AD) 5) Arminianism James Arminius who lived after John Calvin and developed a five-point theology to counter the five points of the Calvinist. (in the 1600s AD) 6) Wesleyan-ism John Wesley developed a theology that is very similar to Arminianism, which led to the formation of the Methodist church. (in the 1700s) 7) Dispensationalism teaches biblical history as a number of successive economies or administrations, called dispensations, each of which emphasizes that God deals with the people of that dispensation differently than with other dispensatioions. (Darby in the1800s ) In fact that ending (ism) should be a clue to their subjectivity. Most people that focus on these more subjective theologies tend to read Scripture through lens that are shaded by their theology (very subjective). As was mentioned earlier, hermenutics define the rules of Biblical interpertation (exegisis). Ones hermenutics are heavely influnced by their school of theology. I would like to address two current hermenutics (a) HISTORICAL / GRAMMATICAL (b) HISTORICAL / GRAMMATICAL /THEOLOGICAL. HISTORICAL / GRAMMATICAL This method relies on the grammatical structure, immediate context and knowledge of the historical setting. Again like the common sense approach to the law of gravity, no one is alive today that understands the grammatical and common understanding to word meanings of that day. For example the word mouse today means an animal and also the computer device; the word gay means to be happy or a homosexual. Image some of the difficulties of interpreting some of our current written material based our upon word understanding two thousand years in the future. Who today truly understands the historical events of Biblical history, in many cases we dont even know for certain the year with-in a hundred years of the event or even the location, or identity of the writer. HISTORICAL / GRAMMATICAL /THEOLOGICAL by adding the theological element to Bible interpretation you add in a variable that from a common sense perspective gives you a higher probability of correct interpretation and that is interpret Scripture in regard to Scripture. I would like to suggest two common sense elements of using theological interpretation. 1) Make sure you interpretation agrees with the most common meaning. That is if Scripture uses one meaning 100 times and another meaning 1 time, the most likely meaning would be the one used 100 times. 2) Let the simplest verses be a key factor in interpreting the more complicated. As indicated by my comments I believe that you approach theology like you would other God created sciences such a physics and mathematics. You establish rules that can be proven and you build a theology block by block. For example Joshua 1:8 gives mankind the formula for success; Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed (nlt). Approximately 500 years later the man to whom God grants wisdom, Solomon states there is nothing new under the sun and all is vanity except; Here is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is the duty of every person. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad: (Ecc 12:13-14). Then a thousand years after Solomon Jesus makes a similar statement when He states, “Not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as `Lord,’ but they still won’t enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is whether they obey my Father in heaven. ( MT 7:21 nlt) There seems to be a common thread in all of these three references and that is obedience to Gods Word brings blessings, and disobedience brings curses. Let us Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ( 2Tim 2:15 kjv) Pastor Charlie is a pastor of a local church and has formed an Internet Ministry called Four Soils Ministry that offers Bible Studies (individual & small groups), Bible Seminars, and a Bible School that offers certificate programs in Preaching, Biblical Counseling, Bible Teaching and Discipleship. Is an MBA Worth the Time and Money?

By Ioan Hepes It depends what your priorities in life are. Before asking the question, you should be clear about what you are trying to achieve with an MBA. It does not only mean higher salary, better position but also much more working hours (50-100% more than for a normal job) and more responsibilities, more stress - you also have to be psychically and physically fit for this (consulting and management jobs require lots of travelling, adapting the body to quickly changing factors, less time with the family). If you are ready for such a challenging life than the MBA is really worth the time and money. Of, course, the MBA should be at least accredited by one of: EQUIS, AMBA or AACSB. It is an invaluable resource of networking, contacts, getting the soft skills to mastery level and getting the tools for a successful career in management, finance, marketing, etc.. Recommendable would be a 1-year full-time program, or an accredited part-time / distance MBA in order to keep the time and money factors as optimal as possible. Today there are so many offers available that you should really spend a while analysing the best oportunities. Having a look on the accreditation lists of AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, or on the Financial Times, Forbes or Businessweek rankings might also be helpful. Ioan Hepes is currently working as Consultant in Hamburg, Germany. Prior to this he has worked in large corporations like IBM, Siemens and Airbus, an NGO which is part of the Open Society Foundation, a financial software company and as Teaching Assistant at the International University Bremen. About Bonsai Basic Styling

By Patrick Desnoyers Bonsai, as a Japanese art form, is more regulated than its Chinese counterpart, the penjing. Bonsai attempts to achieve the ideal tree, while penjing attempts to reproduce nature. This is why perfect styling exists in bonsai if you obey the rules, while penjing leave you free to your creation. As a result these are the basic styles : Broom (Hokidachi or Hoki-zukuri) A very harmonious style, this form has branches that develop at a certain height, forming an upside broom. This styling is mainly achieved through a technique called the V cut. The trunk is chopped where you want the branch to start to develop and then a deep V cut is performed on the remaining trunk. This will induce buds to break near the cut. Zelkova serrata are notorious for this styling but maple and other deciduous species can easily be styled that way. Formal Upright (Chokkan) A tree styled the chokkan way has a straight trunk tapering graciously from bottom to top. The first and biggest branch is often situated at 1/3 of the desired height of the tree and is on the right or the left. The following branch is situated on the opposite side, while the third is in the back creating the perception depth. As we look at the branch structure from bottom to top, the branches are getting thinner, creating a pyramidal shape. Informal Upright (Moyogi) This style is very similar to the previously mentionned style as the same rules of design apply, however, the trunk is not straight but rather forms a sinuous shape while remaining tapered. This style is commonly used with conifers. Slanting (Shakan) Once again, this style is the same as the formal upright except that the trunk is leaning on one side. Branches are grown uniformly on the trunk like the formal/informal upright styles but the apex is tilted to the opposite side of the trunk giving a visual balanced effect. Cascade (Kengai) This styling requires an inclined trunk that is preferably at a 45 degree angle. The major portion of the foliage is below the pot line and sometimes goes beyond the pot itself. It often represents a tree growing on the side of cliff. A deep pot is used for this style. Semi-cascade (Han-Kengai) Similar to the Kengai style, this style also has an inclinated trunk. However, the foliage remains at the height of the pot line. In nature, we can see this style near a waterway, the foliage having grown on the side and leaning towards the water. While the cascade style uses a deeper pot, this style uses a medium depth pot. Windswept (Fukinagashi) A windswept tree represents a tree that has been growing in a certain shape due to natural elements . Often caused by strong wind, the trunk is always inclinated in a certain direction and all branches have grown on the same side. Literati (Bunjin) This styling is often represented in Japanese paintings. It is a tree with a tall and sinuous trunk. The foliage only grows near the summit of the tree. This styling is somewhat an exception to the rigorous rules of bonsai because it does not have specific rules. It represents what the bunjin movement is in Japan: the search for liberty. Group/Forest (Yose-ue) This styling often represents a forest or a small cluster of trees. It is supposed to be styled in a way that will clearly represent the growing habits of trees in a group. Many techinques can be used to achieve this styling and many perception techniques are used to create the illusion of a forest, or as Naka would say, having the quality of the invisible beauty of nature. To respect the Japanese art form, an odd number of trees is prefered for this styling. Raft (Ikadabuki) The same rules of the group planting apply to this style. However, all of the trunks emerge from one common trunk. This technique is often achieved with a branch placed verticaly in the soil. The roots form this branch and the upper part of the vertical branch develop secondary branches that will eventually become the trunks. Multi-trunk Style (Sokan - Sankan) This multi-trunk style has different possibilities. The first, which is called Sokan, consists of two trunks emerging from the same visible roots (nebari). The styling of the upper part of the tree must respect the same rules as the formal / informal upright styles previously described. Another variance consists of the same but with three trunks emerging from the visible roots. This is called Sankan. You can also have more than three trunks but to respect Japanese bonsai, it is prefered to have an odd number of trunks. Roots Over Rock (Ishitsuki) This styling has the specific charactreristics of having many visible roots growing over a rock and finding their way to the pot/soil.
